With an array of parties, bashes, and other gatherings taking place during the week of the White House Correspondents Association, it was expected that Politico would be all over the various functions and who is involved.
The site detailed what it considers one of the hottest gatherings in the district, and it is the one put on by Donald Trump Jr. at his private club, the Executive Branch. It is said that demand for invites to tonight's party is four times greater than the location capacity, and that access for the press is somewhat...limited.

It is a fine amusement to watch the press work itself into a lather attempting to defend the Southern Poverty Law Center, caught funding hate groups, in the FBI indictment. The first dose of mirth comes from their saying this is a baseless attack by the Bureau, when a grand jury saw fit to move things to a trial, so it is hardly wishcasting taking place.
But in trying to defend their activities, the media are turning desperate, and perhaps the prime example of this is from the local Tennessee station where noted anti-Trump extremist Phil Williams plies his trade.
Williams was trying to combat Megan Basham, from The Daily Wire, denying that the indictment stipulated that the SPLC funded any hate group events. As proof, he offered up the link to a piece on the topic, where it literally quotes the indictment, which stated how they paid an organizer of the Unite the Right rally, directed him to post racist content online,........
