My heart beats fast at just the mention of the Solheim Cup. Watching in person or on television, it’s an incredible women’s team event.

And what a wonderful tournament finish as the United States players held on, winning 15½-12½, to earn their first Solheim Cup since 2017. Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Va., was set up beautifully for the marque biannual team event for the LPGA. The win moves the United States to a 11-8 edge in Solheim Cup competitions.
