Good evening. Let me begin by offering my deep thanks to Vaseem and Shameelah for hosting all of us this evening. I am grateful for this opportunity to come together with all of you, and to reflect on the remarkable, positive impact that U.S. businesses have on communities across Pakistan.
Recently, we’ve seen some positive macroeconomic indicators in Pakistan, such as a sharp decline in inflation. I’m hopeful that Pakistan will be able to continue on a positive economic trajectory, including by maintaining its reform commitments under the current IMF program.
