While Ali Tareen’s Multan Sultans franchise may have ended on a bitter note with the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Pakistan Super League, his surprise bid for the proposed new football league under the Pakistan Football Federation could prove to be a welcome injection of fresh thinking into a stagnant system.
