Sen. Joe Manchin (I-W.Va.) said in an interview that aired Sunday that he believes some Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) portions “almost” have to stay during President-elect Trump’s next administration.

“There are things in there, tax credits for nuclear, biofuels. Do you think parts … you think parts of this will survive?” CBS News’s Margaret Brennan asked Manchin on “Face the Nation.”

“I think it almost has to,” Manchin replied.
