Pratt accuses Bass of ‘illegally gaming the election’

Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt on Tuesday accused incumbent Mayor Karen Bass (D) of violating city election laws by appearing near voting centers on her campaign social media accounts.

A lawyer for Pratt, a former reality star from “The Hills” on MTV, filed a complaint to Los Angeles City Clerk Patrice Lattimore to “immediately investigate and take all appropriate enforcement action” against the mayor and stating that Bass engaged in “illegal electioneering.”

“She is so accustomed to breaking the law with no accountability, she even filmed herself doing it,” Pratt posted on the social platform X. “Well, those days are over. We just filed a formal complaint for illegally gaming the election. We must protect our democracy.”

He shared a video of Bass meeting with supporters as she and some voters dropped off ballots at a ballot box. At one point in the video, the mayor approaches a young child in a stroller holding a sheet of paper that reads “Babies 4........
