Instagram's Threads gets user boost

Nearly 35 million new users flocked to Instagram’s Threads this month as the platform seeks to capture users leaving X and keep an edge over emerging platform Bluesky.

The growth rate for Threads ramped up in mid-November, with 20 million of this month’s new users signing up over the past 10 days, Meta spokesperson Andy Stone told The Hill.

About 15 million users signed up between Nov. 1 and 14, Stone added.
