JUST because everyone knows you have the occasional puff doesn't make it right and it is a big deal, Independent Member Craig Garland, in fact it is nothing to be proud of or to boast about.

As a Member of Parliament you are supposed to lead by example but to return a negative roadside drug test and be in possession of drugs is not a good look for anyone, let alone an elected Parliamentarian.

If you are found guilty and have to leave Parliament, you have no-one to blame but yourself.

You should not be so blasé about it, you have broken the law, let down those who voted for you and the public in general.

Show some contrition, not cockiness.

OH DEAR, oh dear! The spirits saga is continuing to entertain us even though they aren't here yet.

This time because one of them has gone walkabout from its Finnish berth. It must have grown weary of not being on its way home.

Added to which our besieged premier has come up with another little air bubble.

Apparently he thinks it would be a stupendous idea to merge three GBEs into one gigantic enterprise so that the spirit saga can't happen again.

Seems more like triple the trouble! Considering our premier actually lives near the new home of the new ships it's amazing that he hasn't seen the gaping hole where nothing has happened, but I guess as one gets on........
