I can’t say I blame Michael Kay. As a baseball fan, it’s saddening.

For 37 consecutive seasons, the legendary broadcaster has covered the New York Yankees on Opening Day. He got his career started in 1987 as a sportswriter for the New York Post, eventually going on to radio in 1992. And then in 2002, that’s when he made the move over to television to cover the pinstripes for YES Network.
