Hayward police are seeking a distinctive-looking suspect in an alleged kidnapping attempt that happened in broad daylight on Friday.

According to Hayward police, a woman was walking near the Hayward DMV on Soto Road shortly after 3 p.m. While she was walking down Soto, a man going the opposite direction passed by. He then “suddenly grabbed” her and began pulling her away, police said. She fought and screamed, drawing the attention of two nearby........
