Three years after a California high school teacher was allegedly found in a student's bedroom by the student's mother, charges have been brought. In March 2021, Patrick John Mester, then a teacher at James C. Enochs High School in Modesto, was terminated from his job and arrested for inappropriate communication with one of his students, a 16-year-old girl.
