EasyJet CEO says Apollo's £5.7 billion takeover is on track for early 2027

CEO Kenton Jarvis said he sees no major barrier from shareholders, though regulatory approval remains uncertain

EasyJet CEO Kenton Jarvis said Thursday that Apollo Global Management's £5.7 billion ($7.5 billion) acquisition of the airline is on track to close in early 2027, though he acknowledged that regulators could yet pose a challenge.

"I don't see a real barrier from shareholder sentiment, that's what I'm hearing," Jarvis said, speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Airlines for Europe........
