Marcus Pearcy, who is building a hospitality empire in Norfolk, has criticised the council for “trying to shut down” Black Barn Farm in Norwich Road.

Mr Pearcy runs a café at the site and posted on social media defending Trevor Thain, who owns the farm shop.

The entrepreneur said Norfolk’s planning departments “aren’t fit for purpose” in a Facebook video which has been viewed more than 84,000 times.
