Work on a set of points at Trowse in the Norwich area has not finished on time and teams are on site and working to reopen the line as soon as possible.

There is no estimated time for when the line will fully reopen.

Routes affected include from Norwich to Shenfield and Liverpool Street, Cambridge, Lowestoft, Sheringham and Great Yarmouth.

Trains are unable to run to and from Norwich station or to Greater Anglia's depot at Crown Point.

They were expecting the Lowestoft, Great Yarmouth and Sheringham routes to open by 7.50am but it is currently unclear whether this has been resolved yet.
