Adnams closed its city centre store in Westlegate after eight years.

The shop closed in mid-September and the company said in a statement: "We'll be closing our doors at Westlegate on September 13, but we're delighted to continue welcoming you at our store just a mile away at 109 Unthank Road. "

The closure followed an announcement in June that Adnams made a pre-tax loss in 2024 of £2.8m.

Harlequin Fancy Dress has since moved into the building.
