The public insults directed at the Black men not voting for Vice President Kamala Harris in the upcoming election are a helpful reminder that the only men Democrats tolerate are obedient allies. The party's views on social progress are shaped in large part by feminists and Pride activists, which means men who want to have any influence on the political Left must be willing to use their "power" and "privilege" on behalf of women or people in the LGBTQ coalition.

This explains why some of the most vocal critics of Black men this election cycle have been surrogates who look like us. In the last month we have seen President Barack Obama chastise "the brothers" during a campaign stop in Pittsburgh. Spike Lee approved of Obama's tough love approach and said some Black men have been "drinking that Kool-Aid" and needed to "get their minds right" in time for the election. Jamal Bryant, the pastor of the church Vice President Harris recently addressed, said "something is wrong with brothers who don't know how to support a sister."

The message from Democrats to Black men who hold to traditional views is simple: Convert to our worldview or expect to be treated like a sexist bigot.

But as progressives continue to move Left on social issues, they are understandably alienating an increasing number of Black men with traditional values and views on gender and........
