Clubs pose hurdle before AIFF over ISL bid process approach

ISL clubs have proposed formation of a new committee to oversee bid process in collaboration with AIFF.

New Delhi: Indian Super League clubs are not “fully satisfied” with the All India Football Federation‘s approach towards the top-flight competition’s long-term commercial and governance framework and have proposed a new “working committee” for a collaborative way forward.

A day before end of a deadline to nominate representative to ISL‘s 22-member governing council, 13 of the 14 clubs (except Inter Kashi) called for “continued dialogue, cooperation and stakeholder engagement” before the next steps could be considered.
