Vivo X Fold 3 Pro has been confirmed to launch in India on June 6, 2024, at 12:00 PM IST. This launch date was earlier tipped via the footnotes of the foldable smartphone’s microsite on Vivo India website. The company has now confirmed the launch date via a poster on Flipkart. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will be the first foldable device from Vivo to not only land in India but also outside China.

The microsite for Vivo X Fold 3 Pro is currently live on both the Vivo India website and Flipkart. The company is marketing the device as “India’s slimmest fold” as it measures 11.2 mm in thickness when folded and 5.2 mm in thickness when unfolded. Vivo also calls the device “India’s lightest fold” as it weighs only 236 grams.

The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro comes with a Carbon Fibre hinge, which the company claims has been tested to last over 12 years with 100 folds a day. It has been confirmed to feature a 5,700 mAh battery capacity with support for 100 W dual-cell charging speed as well as 50 W wireless charging.

The device is powered by a flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor from Qualcomm. The Vivo X Fold 3 Pro comes with a Zeiss-branded triple rear camera setup, including a Zeiss telephoto camera. The device will also come with some Gemini-powered AI features, such as AI Note Assist, AI Transcript Assist, and AI Screen Translation.

In China, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro features an 8.03-inch primary AMOLED screen with 2K resolution and a 6.53-inch AMOLED cover display. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip is paired with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage. It is priced at CNY 9,999 for the base model in China, which translates to around Rs 1,17,000.
