Delhi Assembly polls: Will Delhites go with PM Modi's infra push or AAP's freebies?
The elections for the high-profile Delhi Assembly are to be held anytime in February this year, the dates for which will be announced soon by the Election Commission of India. The Aam Aadmi Party, led by Arvind Kejriwal, is eyeing a third consecutive term, while the BJP is aiming to stage a return in Delhi after being almost 27 years away from power. Amid this, the AAP has already announced its list of candidates for all 70 seats along with a slew of promises to the people of Delhi if it returns to power. Not to be left behind, the BJP on Sunday sounded its poll bugle with PM Narendra Modi launching several infrastructure projects in Delhi.
PM Modi on Sunday flagged off the Namo Bharat train and gifted Delhi projects worth Rs 12,200 crore to the people of Delhi. Prime Minister Modi today inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of several development projects worth more than Rs 12,200 crore in Delhi. PM Modi inaugurated the additional 13 km long Delhi section of the Namo Bharat Corridor between Sahibabad and New Ashok Nagar. He also addressed the Parivartan Rally at Japanese Park in Rohini.
