Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc argues that releasing the names of MPs believed to be aiding foreign powers would be “irresponsible.” In fact, the truly irresponsible action would be to not release the names of those believed to be working against the interests of our country. Making this information public now is especially important with an election looming that could otherwise see some of these people returned to office by unwitting constituents.

Only “traitors” would protect the identity of traitors. The Trudeau’s government’s protection of members of Parliament who have betrayed our country by helping foreign governments that hurt Canada is unconscionable. Considering that we once hanged traitors in Canada, these MPs should consider themselves lucky that likely the worst that will happen to them — if they are ever identified — is that they’ll be voted out of office with a golden pension for life. Shame on them.
