The most-streamed Christmas songs of the 21st century have been unveiled
Every festive season, the UK singles chart becomes something of a two-horse race between Wham!’s Last Christmas and Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You, while Brits apparently have a penchant for a totally different 80s seasonal hit altogether.
But what about those songs released on this side of the new millennium?
Well, the Official Charts Company recently unveiled a full list of the most-streamed Christmas tunes of the 21st century, to reveal the more modern songs we enjoy when we’re starting to feel festive.
Which British Christmas song from the 21st century is the most-streamed?
Sitting at the top of the list is Leona Lewis’ jubilant original song One More Sleep, released in 2013, which sees the Bleeding Love singer looking forward to being reunited with a loved one over Christmas.
