“Well the house is in really good shape structurally, no issues that would normally come up with a home of this age, but boy, is it dated. Every room is painted a different color, the curtains are all floral and the bathrooms have those 4-inch square pink tiles on the walls. You know, like from the fifties?”

I’m walking Anne through a home I’m working on and telling her what I think the place might need in regards to renovation work when she gives me a bit of decorating news.

“You know Pete, those tiles are coming back in style. By the way they’re coral, not pink.”

“You’re kidding, those are back in style?”

“No kidding Pete. Indeed they are.”
