IN AMERICA: Don't make the same mistake again
Every once in a while, when I’m scrolling through my file of articles I’ve started but never finished, I’ll pause, reread one, and think, “You know Pete, you should give this one another shot.”
I started this column years ago, noodled on it a few times, and then just decided it would make no sense to you all. The reason I thought that is because almost everything I write is relatable to most folks on one level or another. Dealing with the loss of a pet or a loved one, work issues, everyday frustrations of talking to customer service (“your call is important to us!”), and a host of normal everyday aggravations that we all encounter in everyday life.
But this one wasn’t on that level. I didn’t think this was anywhere near being a “relatable article” to you all out there in reader land.
