POSITIVE VIBES: The Bills and Geneva
Locally, a lot of people have been talking about the future of Geneva, especially the lakefront, and the Buffalo Bills.
I thought I’d chime in.
First the Bills. Yes, I know they lost a really tough game against the Kansas City Chiefs, but having been a Bills fan for the last 53 years, I’m used to it. In fact, the Chiefs have haunted me since third grade, when I bombed out of the spelling bee by spelling it c-h-e-i-f.
Now the Bills have this thing going where they beat the Chiefs in the regular season but lose to them — in heartbreaking fashion — in the playoffs. It happened again Sunday night.
The Bills, especially Josh Allen, played a great game but came up short when — once again — another field goal went wide right. However, we really can’t complain too much. The Bills turned this season around when they needed to win out to make the playoffs and did. If you told me seven weeks ago the Bills not only would make the playoffs but they’d have two home games in the postseason, I would........
