The Caxton Club, founded in 1890, has won the title of Sports and Social Club of the Year at the Club Mirror Awards 2025.

The Beccles venue took the prize at a glamourous awards ceremony in Leicester at the Athena, a former 1930s cinema.

Donna Knights, club secretary, said: "It's certainly not something we expected to win.
