The sewage leak at Wrentham was caused by an overflowing manhole at the edge of the Bonsey Gardens playing field.

People had complained about the sewer spill at the East Suffolk Council-maintained play area over a month ago.

Andy Warnes, a local, has made multiple complaints about the issue.

He said: "It's an ongoing problem.

"We've had repeated sewage there for the last decade.

"Anglian Water is aware, and they keep letting it........
