Witnesses are being sought after two people stole a large amount of metal from the driveway of a home in Magdalen Close, Lowestoft, between 9.45am and 10.45am on March 31.

A short while earlier, at around 9.15am, the driver of a white van stole metal from a home on Cambrian Crescent in Oulton.

Meanwhile, window frames were taken from the garden of a home on Elm Tree Road West at 9.20am on March 26.

Police are advising businesses and householders to keep scrap metal out of sight or to secure any items to help deter thieves.
