June Mummery polled 49.10pc of the vote for Reform UK to gain a vacant Suffolk County Council seat previously held by the Conservatives.

A by-election was held on Thursday in Lowestoft to fill the vacancy for the Pakefield and Carlton Colville division seat on the Conservative-controlled Suffolk County Council.
