Delivery driver's car seized by police after insurance checks
The vehicle was stopped by Pc Moore from the Halesworth district community policing team as it made takeaway food deliveries in the Reydon area, near Southwold during the evening last week.
A post on the Halesworth Police Facebook page said: "Checks showed the driver only had Social, Domestic & Pleasure (SDP) insurance.

"The vehicle was seized and a Traffic Offence Report (TOR) was issued."
Police said that if you’re using your vehicle for any kind of work — that includes food delivery, courier services or transporting goods — you must have the correct business use insurance.
"Without it, you’re breaking the law and risk points, fines, and losing your vehicle," a police spokesman said.
