The Heritage Steam Gala will take place at Bressingham Steam Museum, near Diss, from Saturday, May 2, until Monday, May 4, between 10.30am and 5pm.

The museum will be hosting more than 20 visiting full-size and model traction engines, operating on three of its Narrow Gauge Railways - the Garden, Waveney and Fen.

Other displays across the weekend include threshing and stone crushing.

A spokesman for the museum said: "Our Fen line will be hosting a busy timetable, and we will also be welcoming a surprise guest loco on our Garden Line."

There will also be all the usual attractions, including the museum and locomotive sheds, Victorian Gallopers and café.

Some of the attractions on show appeared in the BBC's Dad's Army such as the Leyland fire engine, which is still here at the museum today, as is Lance Corporal Jones’ butcher’s van, steamroller Boxer and traction engine Berth.
