Ticket inspectors to ask for passengers' bank cards to catch fare dodgers
But ticket inspectors, clad in black, will still be patrolling the public transport to catch fare dodgers by checking the last six digits of passengers' bank cards.
A tap-on and tap-off system, similar to what is used across London, was launched on First Bus services across Norfolk at the end of November.

The inspectors have been asking passengers for their paper tickets, which are still available, and booting off fare-dodgers since June 2024.
Previously criticised as "militant" by passengers, the officers will now be able to ask to see........
