Several beaches are hosting official Boxing Day swims, with some drawing hundreds of people, many in festive dress.

North Norfolk is the go-to destination for a dip.

The Sea Palling Boxing Day Dip is set to start at midday with a freezing plunge guaranteed to scare off any Christmas Day hangover.

North Norfolk Beach Runners also organise a yearly run followed by a dip in Cromer, where those brave enough will head out towards Overstrand before returning and hitting the sea at 12.30pm.
