The Lion in West Somerton closed down in January 2023, has been empty ever since and is up for sale.

Four villagers have come together to form a not-for-profit company, Somerton VA Ltd, with the aim of buying the pub, which is near Great Yarmouth.

The group now has until April 30 to raise the funds for the purchase, with the venue currently listed for a price of £270,000.
