Man who designed some of resort's most prominent landmarks dies aged 93

Pat Page designed the town's library, the war memorial on the seafront and led the refurbishment of the Nelson Monument in the 1970s.

He has been described by his family as a "quiet, thoughtful man" whose life was shaped by his deep Christian faith.

Born in Edmonton in north London in 1931, he moved to Norfolk after the Second World War and soon began to make his mark on Great Yarmouth.
