Great Yarmouth fights back against 'worst place to live' rating

The poll by The Sunday Times placed the town 276th on the list of 281 locations - meaning it was ranked as the sixth worst place in the country.

But people in Yarmouth have been hitting back at the survey results, and are talking instead about what makes the town a great place to live.

Among the highlights were the town's location between the Broads and the North Sea and the inspiring street art scene, but the main thing was the people, and their passion for the place.

"They are genuinely friendly welcoming people.

"There are also the buildings, the landscape and the streetscape.
