Great Yarmouth Borough Council has allowed Crocus Homes Ltd to vary conditions on its permission for land off Staithe Road in Martham, where work on the all‑affordable scheme is already well under way.

This means that three plots on the site will be shuffled due to UK Power Networks’ requirements for overhead and underground cabling.

The latest changes faced one objection which argued too many houses are being built in the village.
