Nigel Malt, 47, died in Gartree Prison at Market Harborough, in Leicestershire, on April 29.

He was serving a life sentence after being convicted of killing his 19-year-old daughter, Lauren, close to her home in West Winch, near King's Lynn in January, 2022.

A report by the watchdog Prisons and Probation Ombudsman, which investigates deaths in custody, said Malt had a DNACPR (Do Not attempt Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) - often abbreviated to CPR - order in place.

But the officers who found him carried out CPR........
