This writer often wishes he had the luxury of being a ribbons and roses prophecy person. The kind of message that promises nothing but God’s blessing, full restoration of everything lost, and the return of the good times, has always been the stuff of false prophets and those who will not take responsibility for the truth.

I don’t care to face God one day, with only a flimsy explanation for why I did not do, the one thing God called me to do in this life.

All the political pundits will cover the SOTU with razor sharp scrutiny. They won’t miss the yelling, the obfuscation, the blatant lies, the endless exclamations of what he “wants to do” – or the absence of all the things he never did.

Joe Biden’s rhetoric and his record are a stark contradiction.

No American, who is not at this moment under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or sleeping, can miss this fact.

The “don’t worry, be happy” Christian sites don’t much care for serious rebuke, and good political punditry hardly needs a boost these days.
