Donald Trump is not backing down.

In fact, quite the opposite.

He keeps moving forward with his idea of Canada as a state of the United States, the 51st state.

The incoming American president is heading further into territory many Canadians, likely most Canadians, believed was some sort of fantasy Trump was just throwing out there to get everybody’s attention.

Well, he has got everybody’s attention.
