Opinion: 'Hitler' moves among us as Donald Trump
“Hitler” is not a metaphor.
He moves among us as Donald Trump, imploring us to grant him dominion over the U.S. government and its armed forces.
To make him mighty “Once More in ‘24.”
We know this because the Democratic Party and its consort, the American media, are flashing their distress signals:
The United States is on the verge of collapse. Dictatorship looms.
Last weekend, Trump as “Hitler” did what all tyrants eventually do — he scooped french fries at McDonald’s and served Happy Meals.
He sniggered at the prodigious 10-wood of the legendary linksman Arnold Palmer — a dead-on tell of creeping totalitarianism.
He went to a stadium in Pittsburgh and waived to Steelers fans in the same way Hitler once waived to the Stormtroopers at Nuremberg and Berlin’s Olympiastadion.
Back then, his antics foreshadowed the coming of the Second World War — the greatest calamity in the history of man.
Hitler was central to that war, and we can be sure we are looking at the same creature today, the media warns us.
Just do the math.
Hitler in Berlin launched World War II and brought about the deaths of an estimated 50-80 million people.
“Hitler,” who showed up in Steel Town on Sunday, has already killed zero people and counting. Well on his way.
