A Trump-aligned group is suing to get the names of those 218,000 Arizona voters who may not have proved they are U.S. citizens.
Gee, who didn’t see that coming?
America First Legal, led by Stephen Miller – the architect behind Trump’s border policies – is suing Secretary of State Adrian Fontes, asking that he be ordered to pony up the names of the 218,000 voters in question by Oct. 7.
I don't know if he really expects to a judge to hand him the identities of the voters in question. But the lawsuit provides an excellent opportunity for election deniers to renew their evidence-free rant about NON-CITIZENS VOTING!
The lawsuit was filed on behalf of Strong Communities Foundation of Arizona, which is led by Merissa Hamilton, an election denier who never met a conspiracy theory she didn’t herald from the rooftops.
Fontes has said she can't have the list before the Nov. 5 election, citing, among other things the potential that it could lead to “chaos, confusion, harassment, and create an overwhelming administrative burden.”
As opposed, say, to the chaos, confusion, harassment and administrative burden that is sure to come........
