We should all be relieved that former President Donald Trump is OK following an apparent shooting at a political rally outside of Pittsburgh. But this is a delicate time for America.

We don’t know yet the magnitude of what happened at the event in Butler, Pennsylvania Saturday evening, but I know – what all of us should know – is that violence of any kind is not acceptable.

It is a point quickly made and echoed by others, from President Biden and former Presidents Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton........
