Oklahoma City Thunder staff help Thunder forward Chet Holmgren after he was injured during the first half of an NBA basketball game against the Golden State Warriors, Sunday, Nov. 10, 2024, in Oklahoma City.

NBA fans had a problem with the way the Warriors broadcast team of Bob Fitzgerald and Kelenna Azubuike called the play where Thunder center Chet Holmgren suffered a near-season-ending injury on Sunday.

Halfway through the first quarter, Holmgren leapt in the air to challenge a driving Andrew Wiggins at the rim. The resulting collision with the Golden State player sent the big man to the ground hard, and left him in audible, writhing pain while holding the right side of his body, which he landed on.
