'Buster doesn't miss any of that': Will Clark seems to have Giants' attention

The podcaster who has some incredible insight into the changes Buster Posey is bringing to the San Francisco Giants? It sure seems it’s franchise legend Will Clark.

Clark co-hosts the “Deuces Wild” podcast alongside Eric Byrnes, a former big leaguer who grew up in the Bay Area. While Clark is a member of the Giants front office as a special assistant, he hasn’t been shy about sharing his rants on the Giants and the modern state of baseball during the podcasts. Clark seemed especially glad that the Giants sacked former President of Baseball Operations Farhan Zaidi in the episode right after he was fired and Buster Posey was tapped to replace him. In that episode, Clark also warned the Giants’ “statistical guys” that they “better watch your ass, too, because you f—kers might be gone as well.”

A funny thing has happened since that rant: Most of the issues Clark raged against have started changing under Posey. The big move came when Posey announced he was moving the Giants’ analytics department out of a prominent spot in the team’s clubhouse. While it won’t mean the end of the........
