A Greggs kitchen will be built at the Motor Fuel Group (MFG) garage along Dereham Road near Costessey after South Norfolk Council gave plans the green light.

The shop building, which is already home to a Londis and a Subway, will be extended to the rear to accommodate the new kitchen and counter.

The proposed opening hours for the new Greggs are 6am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and 7am to 4pm Sunday and bank holidays.

MFG lodged the plans with the council in December last year.

The bakery chain also opened another store at the MFG petrol station just outside of Downham Market in December.

In 2025, the business added 57 new franchised shops and there is now a total of 147 Greggs across MFG stores.
