Calls for bus stop to return after it was removed without warning
People who previously used the Gurney Road bus stop on Dereham Road have had to walk about 10 minutes to the nearest stop if they want to travel towards Longwater Retail Park.

Others say they are forced to catch a bus in the opposite direction and change elsewhere to reach their destination.
The stop, which served the 23 and 24 routes between Queen's Hills and Thorpe St Andrew, was located between Breckland Road and Gurney Road but was removed in 2024 during works to install a new bus lane and cycle path along the busy road.
The path leading to the former stop has become heavily overgrown.
Some people now step into the road to pass the vegetation, while others use informal tracks through woodland behind the site.
