New Delhi: According to a study, COVID lockdown and spending hours indoors and screen time have left one-third of children short-sighted, Known as myopia, the incidence of this condition has tripled from 1990 to 2023 and talk of its global incidence, the condition affects approximately five million youngsters in 50 countries. The eye condition starts during primary school and can worsen till 20, once the eyes stop growing.
