Ukrainian farmers finally make long-awaited visit to East Anglia

A group of agribusiness owners, managers and agronomists who collectively farm almost one million hectares in Ukraine were welcomed to Claydon's factory in Wickhambrook, near Bury St Edmunds.

The four-day trip was the first-ever visit by the firm's Ukrainian customers, who saw its Opti-Till machines being manufactured as well as taking a tour of the Claydon family’s arable farm.

Due to the devastating conflict with Russia, this was the first time that Claydon’s national territory manager for Ukraine and Kazakhstan, Anatoliy Penzin, had visited his employer since being appointed in August 2020.
