Blue Cross Blue Shield customers to receive payments in $2.67B settlement. Do you qualify?

(NEXSTAR) – More than five years after it was granted approval in court, payments in the massive $2.67 billion Blue Cross Blue Shield settlement should start hitting people’s bank accounts in just a matter of days.

The fund is set to begin distributing payments in May 2026, according to the settlement administrator.

The class action lawsuit alleged Blue Cross Blue Shield limited competition between health insurance options, driving up costs for customers. The company denies any wrongdoing, but agreed to settle the lawsuit, and it was granted final approval back in October 2020.

People who were covered by Blue Cross Blue Shield between February 2008 and October 2020 were eligible to file a claim,........
