Costessey councillor Gary Blundell warned the yobs there is a “serious concern of loss of life” for drivers travelling along a section of Dereham Road after a spate of recent attacks.

More than 10 cars have had windows smashed and bodywork dented by thrown objects, likely stones, while driving between Longwater Retail Park and Roundwell Park.

Two women feared they were being shot at after their passenger side window was "blown out" in the early hours of Saturday, leaving them shaken and afraid.
